A Minor Prophet with a Major Message

Micah 4:10-11 reminds us that we may not always see God at work in our world, in our lives, or in our days.  But just like Micah’s reminder to the remnant who were about to lose everything, be carted off to Babylon and go into exile, they were reminded that God has a plan and will restore them to everything they had.  They needed to remain faithful and patient during the time of trial.

The same is true for us, whether it is the economy, or our personal lives, turmoil in death, or disease, remain patient and see God at work.  He has a plan.  It is not always clear, it is not always known, and sometimes we wait in frustrations, but we wait faithfully knowing that our God is great.

Be reminded that He is the same God who took the horror of the cross and made it the greatest event for humanity through the resurrection. Wait on the Lord and see His plan fulfilled always for your good and His glory.
